Congratulations to Rob & Yvonne Lowery and, especially, Harvey the Cocker Spaniel (Amaroanne My Fathers Eyes) who represented the North of England Spaniel Club at the Eukanuba Golden Oldies Contest, hosted by the Huddersfield Canine Society on the 25th April 2009.

Rob tells us that they were pleased to be able to represent the club and that it was an enjoyable night, with a lovely buffet and very well organised by the hosts.

Not a bad set of rosettes!

Former Secretary Mrs Freda Curran and former President Mrs Ellen Dobson cut the cake to celebrate 100 years of The North of England Spaniel Club.  For more information and results from that historic show, please click here Ellen sadly passed away early in 2008 and is greatly missed by her many friends at the Club.

More of that beautiful fruit cake, kindly made and donated by Mrs Joan Chaplin.  It was enjoyed by all present at the Centenary Show
